so lets talk about my come back post :) today i am reviewing Benefit's most raved about product Cha Cha Tint i got this deluxe mini with my Benefit Sexy little Stowaways set. have a look :)

Benefit Cha Cha Tint

My thought

I have never been a coral lover so when i get to try something coral i don't expect it to work for me sometimes it does sometimes not, in this Cha Cha Tint case i was actually hoping for it to work for me but i was little disappointed because i think tints are not for me no matter how pretty they are they will never work for me.i always find them tricky

This is a mango colored tint, comes in a plastic bottle and contains 2.5ml of the product. This is mini version of the original so the bottle is very tiny. The original one comes in a 14.5ml bottle.the applicator is similar to nail polish applicator .It has a creamy semi thick consistency, not runny at all.the application is bit tricky i need to blend it quickly after applying can't wait, even for a second or else i get a splotchy application because it leaves a stain where i applied it so be careful and do one cheek at a time.If i apply it with my finger,i end up getting more stain on my finger than the face and its difficult to remove.i would recommend not applying the stain directly on our cheeks to avoid the stain patches, use a makeup sponge or fingers and do remember to rinse fingers immediately after applying.

Swatches - photo taken in natural light

swatches - photo taken in nautral light

After this much struggle with the application i have to admit i get a pretty coral flush on my cheeks and gives a fresh look.the staying power is something i won't complain about because it stays put for 7 to 8 hours on me without a budge.the size is travel friendly but this can not be a on-the-go product because you will always need to be careful with the application, no hurry and no with out mirror touch ups.

And now about the lips, it emphasise the dryness and cracks on the lips and application is uneven, my upper lip always gets less stained no matter how much i apply i don't know why may be its because of my lip tone.it stays put maximum 3 to 4 hours on me which is not bad.

so this is my experience with this tint after which i won't be considering buying the full sized bottle as i first thought, because its not worth spending so much money ( i think so).this little bottle is enough for me.

i will rate it 3/5

Pros

  • Pretty coral color
  • Looks good after application
  • Long lasting

Cons

  • Tricky application
  • Not a on-the-go product
  • Emphasise dryness on lips
  • Pricey

Price         14.5ml  $30,   2.5ml   $7 (price varies as different online sellers sell the deluxe mini on different prices)

You can get it online from Benefit Cosmetics website or from facebook stores Wishlist or beautyunleashed

Do share your experience if you have tried it :) TC

Health Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil

Hey ladies today i am going to share the articles i have read about the health benefits of coconut oil.two months ago my hubby started to include virgin coconut oil in his breakfast routine because he was convinced that it had major health benefits but i was a little doubtful about it but after these two months i am quite convinced too.He take virgin coconut oil internally by having 4 table spoons before breakfast and After using coconut oil my hubby's hair fall has ceased he has lost weight and his metabolism is speeding up and he is no more having constipation problems. So recently i have also included it in my diet, at first it feels weird gulping down 4 table spoons of coconut oil but after some days its not weird any more, at start you might feel it heavy inside you stomach but that's ok you can also start by taking 2 table spoons a day Rather than 4 and if you don't want to take spoonful of oil there are other ways to include it in your diet

*here are some articles he made me read about the benefits of coconut oil.you might find these helpful

10 Helath Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has become very popular in alternative health circles, despite the fact that for many years it was considered a "bad" fat due to its high saturated fat content. However, it turns out that the saturated fat in coconut oil, especially virgin coconut oil, is not the same as the saturated fat in other oils. It contains medium-chain fatty acids which are much easier on the body than the long chain fatty acids found in many other cooking oils. It also contains several compounds that are good for your health, including caprylic acid, capric acid, and lauric acid.
Not just any coconut oil will do, however. Many brands process the oil at high temperatures, which removes some of the benefits that are available. All of the early studies that found negative effects of coconut oil on cholesterol levels were done with partially hydrogenated coconut oil, whereas unprocessed, virgin coconut oil appears to have positive health effects.
Here are 10 health benefits of virgin coconut oil

Immune System Support

Consuming coconut oil may help to fight off disease and illness thanks to its antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. If you're battling any kind of virus or infection, try taking coconut oil.

Cardiovascular Health

Although coconut oil is a saturated fat, several studies have found that eating virgin coconut oil does not have adverse effects upon the heart. On the contrary, it appears to reduce the risk of high cholesterol and heart attack. Earlier studies done on coconut oil that found it caused high cholesterol were done using partially hydrogenated coconut oil and not virgin coconut oil and the studies were done on animals, not humans.
Researchers found that Polynesians in the Cook Islands whose diet is extremely high in coconut oil have low cholesterol levels and a very low incidence of heart attack compared to people in the rest of New Zealand who do not consume as much coconut oil. In Sri Lanka, a study found that the incidence of heart attack has risen as the consumption of coconut oil has gone down.

Thyroid Support

Many people believe that consuming extra virgin coconut oil can help with the symptoms of hypothyroidism. While scientific evidence is conflicting in this regard, many people with hypothyroidism have successfully improved or even reversed their hypothyroidism and have been able to stop taking thyroid medication. Remember that it may not work for everyone and it is important to consult with your doctor before stopping any medications.

Weight Loss

One study found that women who took virgin coconut oil every day had a significant reduction in abdominal fat. Even though coconut oil is a type of fat, it may actually help you to lose weight. Because it contains medium chain fatty acids rather than long chain fatty acids like some other commonly used oils, the body uses coconut oil for energy and does not store much of it as fat. In this way, it helps to boost the metabolism.

Staph Fighter

When applied to wounds and sores, virgin coconut oil may prevent further staph infection. One study found that virgin coconut oil was beneficial in the treatment of atopic dematitis that was colonized with Staphylococcus aureus.

Wound Healing

One study on mice found that wounds treated with virgin coconut oil healed faster and showed higher collagen cross-linking than the control group.

Stretch Mark Prevention

In Asia, coconut oil is commonly used to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. Already have stretch marks? Women have also found that applying coconut oil to stretch marks after they have formed erases the stretch marks or greatly reduces their appearance.

Skin Benefits

Moisturizing your skin is the key to keeping it youthful and healthy and coconut oil can be used in place of lotion for a healthier moisturizer. When coconut oil is used, it also helps to fight bacteria and other skin problems including rashes, dermatitis, acne, wrinkles, eczema, and psoriasis. If you have an area of skin that is irritated, rub coconut oil on the skin to soothe the inflammation and reduce the symptoms.

Healthy Hair

Coconut oil can also be used to improve the health of your scalp and hair. One way it helps is by strengthening the strands and reducing protein loss during washing. Try applying a little bit of coconut oil on your hair to brush out tangles or massage a tiny bit on coconut oil on the scalp for a silky, strong, head of hair.

Digestive System

Coconut oil has been found by many people to be beneficial for digestive problems such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and indigestion. Coconut oil fights unhealthy bacteria in the digestive system and it also assists in nutrient absorption within the body.

Top 10 Celebrities Who Use Virgin Coconut Oil

Virgin coconut oil is making a strong comeback. After decades of derision and active avoidance by those who mistakenly believed it would clog their arteries and give them heart disease, unrefined, pure virgin coconut oil is finally getting its day in the sun.
The research of Dr. Weston A. Price in the early part of the last century as documented in his groundbreaking book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration provides a scientific basis for this change of heart. Dr. Price noted through his careful, first hand analysis of Traditional Diets from all over the world that the people of the South Sea Islands who consumed large amounts of virgin coconut oil in their diet actually suffered the lowest amount of heart disease!

In fact, heart disease was virtually nonexistent in this virgin coconut oil loving culture. These people also exhibited strong resistance to disease, easy fertility, strong and beautifully straight teeth, and vitality well into old age. In addition, the women were renowned for their youthful beauty and luminous skin no matter what their age.
Always quick to adopt a trend that holds promise for improvement and maintenance of physical beauty and health, celebrities are digging the benefits of virgin coconut oil too.

Below is the top ten list of famous personalities that use virgin coconut oil regularly by including it as part of their health and wellness regimen:

#10 Apolo Ohno: virgin coconut oil for dinner

Medium chain triglyclerides (MCTs) are the wonderful fat available in copious amounts in virgin coconut oil that is used immediately by the body for energy that Mr. Ohno has learned to use to his advantage

#9 Jillian Michaels: virgin coconut oil for cooking

Personal trainer and fitness guru Jillian Michaels extols virgin coconut oil as an aid to the immune system.
In her book Master Your Metabolism, Ms. Michaels includes a recipe for a stirfry which lists 1 TBL of virgin coconut oil as a key ingredient along with several other fresh and whole foods

#8 Miranda Kerr: virgin coconut oil in tea

Supermodel Miranda Kerr who is married to actor Orlando Bloom and recently became a new Mom says eating lots of coconut oil is her beauty secret and that she has been consuming it since she was 14. Of her favorite virgin coconut oil, Miranda states:

#6 CJ Wilson: coconut oil for game day meals

CJ Wilson's chef uses virgin coconut oil

The popular pitcher for the Texas Rangers consumes coconut oil as it is the preferred cooking oil of his personal chef Aaron Elliot. Elliot even prefers virgin coconut oil to olive oil when preparing meals for the baseball star and this includes meals prepared for Wilson on game days.
Wilson’s “game day omelet” consists of three eggs with spinach, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion. The veggies are sauteed in coconut oil prior to adding the eggs.

#5 Gwyneth Paltrow: virgin coconut oil to moisturize after an Epsom Salts bath

Oscar winning actress, wife of Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Mom to Apple and Moses, Gwyneth Paltrow claims to regularly use virgin coconut oil to moisturize her skin after a bath of cleansing and detoxifying epsom salts.
According to her website goop.com:
“I love Epsom salt baths to detox, revive muscles and de-puff skin. While in the bath, I use an exfoliating mitt which stimulates skin and leaves it soft and bump-free. After the bath, I slather my skin with extra-virgin organic coconut oil.”

#4 Gisele Bundchen: virgin coconut oil for organic skincare line

#3 Dr. Oz: coconut oil for speeding metabolism and weight loss

That’s right, a celebrity MD is even endorsing virgin coconut oil! Dr. Oz recently ran a two part series on his popular show called Coconut Oil Superpowers.
He extols the use of virgin coconut oil as a tool for weight loss by speeding up metabolism.

#2 Angelina Jolie: virgin coconut oil for breakfast

According to the UK Daily Mail, Angelina Jolie includes virgin coconut oil as part of her breakfast routine.
A source for Grazia magazine said:
“Angelina has been known to start her day with little more than a spoonful of coconut oil and a handful of cereal.”
It’s no wonder Ms. Jolie likes including virgin coconut oil to start her day.
According to Sally Fallon Morell and Dr. Mary Enig, authors of the book Eat Fat Lose Fat, a bit of virgin coconut oil before a meal can really assist with healthy weight maintenance by helping people feel full and not overeat.

#1 Jennifer Aniston: coconut oil for weight loss and boosting metabolism

Jennifer Aniston apparently was a devotee of the Coconut Diet for a period of time and was even spotted with a shopping cart full of coconut oil.
The Coconut Diet is low carb and includes plenty of coconut in all its forms to speed metabolism and weight loss.
Perhaps Jennifer saw Dr. Oz’s show on coconut oil increasing metabolism and weight loss and this convinced her to try this amazing, traditional oil?

Virgin Coconut Oil: Why it's healthy and how to use it

Coconut oil is grabbing lots of attention lately. Supermodels and celebrities swear by it, downing tablespoonfuls every day to maintain flawless skin and glossy hair. And scientists are studying its disease-fighting powers.
Healthy oils—like virgin coconut oil—are essential to a fast metabolism, too. Here’s how to buy it and try it

Stick with virgin coconut oil

Virgin coconut oil is the good stuff. It’s pressed directly out of fresh or newly dried coconuts. It’s a unique oil:
  • Virgin coconut oil is rich in antioxidants (ferulic acid, p-coumaric acid, and Vitamin E) that are terrific for skin and can even help wounds heal.
  • It contains lauric acid, a rare fatty acid (found in breast milk, but hardly anywhere else) that boosts immunity and metabolism.
  • Unlike most other fats, virgin coconut oil contains mostly medium-chain fatty acids. Your liver metabolizes these faster than regular long-chain fats, so you’re more likely to burn coconut oil for energy—and less likely to store it as fat. It’s a saturated fat, but a healthy one.
In The Fast Metabolism Diet, we use coconut and coconut oil—along with other healthy-fat foods like salmon, avocado, nuts, eggs, and olive oil—to fuel your metabolic fire in Phase Three.
Avoid refined coconut oil, though. It’s usually chemical-laden, bleached, deodorized, and sometimes partially hydrogenated, which creates artery-clogging trans fats. Refining destroys a lot of the healthy antioxidants and essential fatty acids, too.

How does it taste?

Crack open a jar of virgin coconut oil, and you’ll immediately smell fresh coconut. It tastes mild and faintly sweet.
Here are a few ways to try it:
  • Stir it into your morning oatmeal.
  • Sub it for butter. Virgin coconut oil stays solid at room temperature, but melts when it gets a little warm, so you can spread it on sprouted-grain toast or English muffins.
  • Melt it over sweet potatoes, butternut squash—any cooked veggie, really. It’s fantastic with bitter greens like kale.
  • Sauté or grill with it. Your food will pick up the faint coconut taste—think coconut shrimp, chicken stir-fry, and grilled pineapple.
  •

Other ways to use coconut oil

The kitchen isn’t the only place you can use virgin coconut oil. It’s great as a skin moisturizer or hair balm. It makes a fine eye-makeup remover and can even be used for diaper rash.

I hope you find these articles helpful.Do Try to include Coconut Oil in you Diet.Stay Happy & Healthy

MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink - Review & Swatches

Hey Everyone :) i hope you are doing good. i have been busy lately so couldn't share much reviews but now i am gonna make it right and give more time to blogging.lets see if i will be able to live up to my promise :p anyways here is another review and its MUA Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink.

MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink

MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink

Product Description

Make a statement this season with these pout perfect plumping lip glosses. Follow the catwalk craze by keeping your make up neutral and pop those lips with these pout pleasing products from MUA Professional. Whether you’re after a bold Shocking Pink, bang on trend Sienna tangerine tone or cotton Candy Pink hue; these seven sensational shades cover the looks for less this season.
Each sensuous shade contains maxi lip© plumping agents for a natural looking pout with a non sticky formula.

My Thought

MUA has always impressed me with its product range and quality so i couldn't expect less from this gloss.the gloss comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a doe foot applicator.the bottle is quite long for a normal lip gloss and sturdy.Pin up Pink is a vibrant pink color but on the lips its more toned down and less vibrant pink, which is good.the consistency of the gloss is thick but its not sticky at all, it is really pigmented and transfers well to the lips with an even application.the gloss stays for maximum 2 hours so you might want to reapply after 2 hours.as the gloss is for plumping effect it might tingle a little bit at start but the tingling fades after few seconds so its normal to feel tingling sensation after application.

MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink - Swatch

when i ordered this gloss i was really excited, its not that i need a plumping effect but i really wanted to see how this plumping gloss would work or would it live up to the plumping claim and to be honest it does give a plumper look to the lips.

MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss In Pin Up Pink - Applied

so for me its really a good gloss with a pretty pink color, glossy and plumping effect.this also looks good over a pink colored lipstick.the other colors look good too so i would definitely check them out too.will you?

i will rate this 4.8/5

Pros

  • Pretty color
  • Pumping effect
  • Good Pigmentation
  • Even application
  • Non-sticky
  • Budget Friendly
  • Travel Friendly

Cons

  • Tingles a little bit at application

Price     PKR 350, £2.00

Luscious Blush in 021 Champagne - Review, Swatches & Comparison With Benefit Bella Bamba Blush

hello my lovely readers :) how are you? i have so much to share with you but couldn't write much this months, winters makes me lazy so i was just being sluggish and putting all my to do list on hold. But no more laziness, here is another post sharing my thoughts about a pretty blush by Luscious.keep on reading to find more

Luscious Blush In Champagne

Luscious Blush In Champagne

Product Description

Prepare to get seriously addicted!
Made with multi-toned pigments and light-reflecting shimmer, nothing brings a dull complexion to life like a sweep of Luscious Blush. It imparts a soft healthy glow to your face and blends like a dream.
Our blushes can be worn in a single shade for a hint of color or layered with another shade to create seductive depth

Luscious Blush In Champagne

My Thought

i really adore this blush, its creamy in texture, highly pigmented and blends like a dream.the color is soft peachy pink with a Golden sheen to it.it gives a perfect healthy glow to the face and provides a quality you expect from a high end brand blush.

Luscious Blush In Champagne - Swatched

i was really surprised by the color pay off and quality of the blush.the shimmer particles in it are really unnoticeable and when i apply this blush the pale gold sheen really makes my face look lively.its a best choice for night time parties and weddings.
i have also compared this blush with benefit belle bamba and its is no less than it in any way.its quite similar to bella bamba, both are pink blushes with golden sheen while Belle Bamba leans more towards pink, luscious champagne is more peachy.

Luscious Blush In Champagne & Benefit Belle Bamba

Left: Luscious Blush In Champagne
Right: Benefit Bella Bamba

as u can see the shimmer particles in the Bella Bamba are noticeable while in Luscious champagne the sheen is there but you can not notice the shimmer particles.as far as the color pay off and texture matters Luscious champagne gives quite a tough cometetion to the Bella Bamba.
i don't own Nars Orgasm but after seeing the swatches and reviews on Internet i think Luscious Champagne could be a dupe
the things i don't like about this blush is that the surface of the blush gets a little hard after some time and packaging could have been better.

Pros

  • Multi-toned blush
  • Richly Pigmented & Easily blenable
  • Soft texture
  • Gives healthy glow to the face
  • Good color payoff
  • Budget Friendly

Cons

  • Packaging could have been better
  • Surface of the Blush gets hard

i would give it 4.5/5

Price       PKR 475

You Can Find it at Alfateh Lahore or can order from Luscious Website www.iloveluscious.com

have you tried it? it's definately a steal for the price :)
