Hello ladies:) today i am going to introduce you to another beauty by Essence Cosmetics.It's Magic, a highlighter powder from their trend adition range Circus Circus.

A highlighter is a must have in a makeup stash if you want a glowing look, used correctly a highlighter can brighten the complexion and play up the favourite facial features.So, did this highlighter live upto my expections? keep on reading to find out my take on it.

My thought

the idea of powder highlighter was not that apealing at first but when i swatched it i knew i had to have it.the highlighter comes in a black colored plastic pan with a transparent plastic lid, the packaging is simple and sturdy.the pan contains 9g of the product which is an impressive quantity for the price paid.you can see in some  pictures that the pan inside the container is a little lopsided that's because it rotates i don't know if it is supposed to be like this or its a fault

the highlighter itself is a fine powder with delicate shimmer particles in it which are not at all gritty or chunky.the powder is creamy soft in texture, it glides on smoothly and blends well.i love the fact that how on blending this highlighter gives a subtle sheen and a glow to my skin

i use a bit of highlighter on the cheekbones which make them look glowing and defined and on the brow bones to make my eyes look brighter and larger.you can also put it on your cupids bow to make you lips appear plumper and defined.

sometimes i mix this highlighter with my foundation to get a full face luminosity.i rubb my finger over the highlighter and  mix my foundation on my palm with the same finger.belive me it does make a difference and give my face a healthy glow not a scary sparkly twinkle look.

Ingridients

Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Mica, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Cyclohexasiloxane, Propylene Carbonate, Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides).
 

My thoughts

 

 

when i heard about this liner i wanted to try it asap bcoz i got tierd of my cake liner as it smudges in summer so i got it in midnight in paris which is a jet black matte color.although the liner is matte but u will notice micro silver shimmer in it.liner comes in a cute little glass jar wid a plastic lid and contains 3ml of the product so the quantity is quite enough. packaging isn't that bad but the jar is not sealed.

i found this liner richly pigmented and super creamy which makes the application easy.u dont have to struggle to get a precise line and no need to drag the brush over the lid as it glides smoothly.the liner is water proof and it stays put upto 12 hrs, it does not budge or smudge so oily lids aren't problem anymore.

as the liner is water proof, its hard to take it off even with a makeup remover. i tried to take it off with my cleanser but it was a mess i rubbed my eyes so hard that they got red n started itching. then i came up wid an idea and dabbed my eyes with some coconut oil and remove it with tissue paper and the liner came off with a single swipe no rubbing and scratching. so u ll have to use a oil based makeup remover to remove it or just try some coconut or olive oil it will work

i absolutely love this eyeliner. u can use it to creat any look u want.it will also work on the water line and stays put for a long time.use angled liner brush to apply the liner
